Muffin Mare

(A libadagio preview build)

In 2012, I made a fangame for the then-popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in a game development class for high school. It was originally developed in Greenfoot, a library and IDE for teaching Java. At the time this project taught me a lot about Object Oriented Programming, so making it is still a programming memory I hold dear.

Since then, this kind of embarrassing fangame has served another role. It's an incredibly simple game, but is still complete enough to be called a game, so it's become a standard game to remake whenever I want to test out new game development frameworks and engines. This brings us to this newest version of Muffin Mare, developed in my newest custom-built game engine (I'm currently calling "libadagio").

The engine is still under active development, but I'm proud to have come this far! Please look forward to more new games soon as I build up this engine to work on more interesting and fulfilling games. :)

Game Description and How 2 Play

Derpy has gone to sugarcube corner for some muffins! Unfortuately, they have been mixed up with the cupcakes... and Apple Bloom burnt the cupcakes! Sort the muffins and cupcakes out for Derpy Hooves by eating the muffins and ignoring the cupcakes.
